Energy Tax Credit Information
The following points summarize the tax credit provision for 2012:
- Tax Credit: 10% of the cost, up to $500, but windows are capped at $200.
- Expires: December 31, 2013 Must be for taxpayers Principal Residence
- Details: Must be an existing home & your principal residence. New construction and rentals do not qualify.

Not all EnergyStar compliant products meet the new standard for this tax credit, so copies of the NFRC label will not always suffice. For your records, the above certification statements have been provided. To claim your credit, retain a copy of your product receipt along with this statement.
